The Delaware Population Consortium (DPC) is pleased to continue its program of providing 30-year population and employment projections for the State, the counties, and for selected municipalities. These projections incorporate the latest data and information provided to or generated by DPC members and other agencies at the federal, state, and local level. These data also incorporate the actual births and deaths since 2000, the latest Bureau of Census estimates, and the latest migration data from the IRS.
The 2007 Edition of the Projections shows a slight decrease (as compared to the 2006 Edition) in the projected 2030 population of the State. This mostly reflects a decrease in projected growth in New Castle County. Projected growth in Kent and Sussex Counties was essentially unchanged.
